E-1 – Treaty Traders
PURPOSE
Allows nationals of countries with which the U.S. has a treaty to enter and work in the U.S. based on their role in a trade enterprise.
HOW
Must be engaged in substantial trade between the U.S. and their home country. The trade must be more than marginal. The applicant must be an executive, manager or essential employee of the business involved in substantial trade.
