H - 2A VISA (Agricultural Visa)

TEMPORAL AGRICULTURAL WORKER

PURPOSE

For foreign workers to fill temporary agricultural positions where U.S. workers are not available. Involves jobs such as planting, cultivating and harvesting crops.

HOW

  1. Employers have to show a shortage of U.S workers willing and able to perform the work and employing foraging workers will not adversely affect the wages or working conditions of U.S. workers. Potential employees must be from countries designated by the U.S.
  2. Department of Homeland Security as eligible for H-2A program and must meet specific qualifications for the job.
