Documentation requirements:

One-time achievement of a major internationally-recognized award, think Nobel Prize; OR

Extensive documentary evidence of extraordinary ability, which must include at least 3 of the following:

1. Receipt of lesser nationally or internationally recognized prizes or awards.
2. Memberships in exclusive organizations requiring outstanding achievement of their members.
3. Major media coverage about you in professional or trade publications in the field.
4. Evidence of high salary or other significant recognition.
5. Original work documented by patents, licences, commercialization of research innovation, contributions to open-source repositories or other technical resources, and reference letters from government entities and other experts in the field, i.e. original contributions of major significance. 
6. Scholarly peer-reviewed articles in the field.
7. Service as the judge of the work of other professionals in the field. 
8. Performing in a leading or critical role at distinguished organizations.
9. Documentation of work being displayed at artistic exhibits or showcases.
10. Commercial succession the performing arts
11. Final merits determination based on the totality of the evidence, which is also an opportunity to include additional evidence not mentioned above.
